Michael Albert Collages

This was an interesting lesson taught by our part-time Art teacher, Ms. Anderson.  She did this lesson with her 4th graders and they turned out really great!  The main idea of the lesson was to deconstruct a cereal box, with icons of pop culture (Trix bunny, Disney characters, etc) and put the pieces back together in an interesting way.  Then, the students colored around the pieces to fill in the negative space.

Can you believe that Michael Albert actually contacted me about these collages?  I was so impressed that he took the time to e-mail me about my students' artwork!!!!!!!!
