Well, I'm sure you all know that this time of year is pretty hectic for us Art Teachers. Yesterday alone, I made Santa's workshop & an outdoor rooftop scene for the Christmas play here at school, I had to build a chimney, and I left work to design a set for another Christmas play at a local church. Not to mention creating the decorations for the staff Christmas party and taking down ALL of the holiday themed art in the building so we can start fresh in January. Whew!!! So, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and I hope you find a way to de-stress so you can enjoy your families because that's exactly what I am doing in T-minus 48 hours :)
You need a parent volunteer to help you with all those tasks! ;) That's what I do at my youngest child's school and will likely continue to do after she leaves there next year!
