K-2nd Grade Patchwork Elmer Paintings
Students read the book Elmer and created these one-of-a-kind paintings/collages using square sponge stamps in a patchwork pattern. I found that the collages that the 2nd graders made were much more fun and a lot less messy, but I just love being able to do new and different painting techniques with kinders. It was VERY messy, however.
